Cosmetic services-including skin care, permanent makeup, makeup, and camouflage application-have been an important part of facial rejuvenation in our office for many years.
Our skin care specialist, Janey Renggli, works closely with Dr. Kalvert to design a special program for each person's individual needs.
All of our skin care services are available to non-surgical clients as well as to our surgical patients.
Our full-time clinical aesthetician provides a variety of treatments and products for managing healthy skin. Included among the possible treatments might be the use of Retin - A, collagen therapy, laser skin resurfacing, chemical peel, dermabrasion, glycolic washes, skin peels, or facial treatments, or a combination of any of these.
About Our Facial Treatments
Each facial treatment is designed for your special skin type. Ms. Renggli specializes in herbal facials, deep cleansing, oxygen facials, or seaweed and essential oil treatments.
About Our Microdermabrasion
Our advanced-technology Parisian Power Peel leaves your skin softer, smoother, and fresher without any "down time." A series of power peels can soften large pores, decrease pigmentation spots, erase fine lines, and help with acne.
About Our Ultra-Sonic Facials
By using ultra sound waves with a variety of different types of facial treatments, we can help minimize scars, reduce wrinkles and the remnants of acne and other scars.
About Our Glycolic Washes
Our glycolic skin care treatments consist of in-office treatments and an at-home maintenance program designed especially for each patient's skin. Glycolic Acid is one of the five Alpha Hydroxy Acids. It is naturally derived from sugar cane. This acidic compound removes the dead cells of the outer layer of the skin. The younger, healthier cells beneath are then exposed for a more youthful appearance.
About Our Skin-Care and Sun-Protection Products
Our exclusive, physician-formulated skin care products, used in our offices and available for home use, contain superb ingredients at highly effective concentrations.
Our topical oxygen therapy program and lipid drops replenish lost moisture and help to maintain a smoother appearance. Our cleanser and marine moisturizers are carefully chosen to fit each patient's needs.
Our Sun Protection Kit, which includes both SPF 15 and SPF 30, is designed to make sun protection comfortable, simple, safe and effective.

Patients benefit greatly from the application of permanent eyeliner, permanent eyebrows, and permanent lipliner. In addition to always having the perfect look without the time needed to reapply makeup every day, these intradermal procedures also work well for patients allergic to conventional makeup and for those physically incapable of applying makeup.
- Permanent Eyeliner - No running of makeup and a smooth line where it should be!
- Permanent Eyebrows - Play tennis, go swimming without the worry of losing it!
- Permanent Lipliner - To prevent lipstick from bleeding into the surrounding skin, to correct lip shape or size, and to camouflage lines surrounding the lips that tend to appear with age
These simple procedures can change one's lifestyle as well as the morning makeup routine, and they cause little or no discomfort.
Laser skin resurfacing, commonly called a laser peel, removes the outer, often damaged layer of skin for a smoother, younger look. Laser resurfacing can reduce the appearance of sun damage, wrinkles, fine lines, uneven pigmentation and superficial scarring, usually on the face. A carbon dioxide (CO2) laser beam of intense, precisely-focused light vaporizes the surface skin and reveals the undamaged layer beneath. Procedure time varies depending on the size and severity of the area being treated and whether it is combined with other procedures such as a browlift or eyelid surgery for even more dramatic results.

Many people have second thoughts about their tattoos. Fortunately, you don’t have to live with your decision forever. Highly precise lasers can lighten or remove your tattoo by focusing or pulsing light on the ink particles, which then convert the energy to heat and break up into tiny pieces that are absorbed harmlessly by the body. All this can be accomplished without damaging the surrounding tissue. Results can generally be seen within a few weeks, although larger and darker tattoos may require more treatments than smaller, lighter ones. Occasionally treated skin will look whiter (paler) than the skin around it, but this is usually temporary and fades in the months following treatment.
Dr. Kalvert designs post surgery make-up for each individual patients needs.
