Laser Skin Rejuvenation
Laser skin rejuvenation is designed to improve the skin’s appearance by treating wrinkles, sun damage, sagging skin, brown spots, spider veins, rosacea and more. Laser treatment can also be used on scars from acne or other causes. Laser skin rejuvenation has a number of advantages over other resurfacing procedures, including chemical peels and microdermabrasion, in that it significantly reduces or eliminates side effects such as discomfort, bleeding and bruising. Different types of laser treatments are used to treat different skin conditions.
Chemical peels remove damaged outer layers of skin to make skin smoother, reduce scarring and remove blemishes. Ranging from mild to strong, there are three types of chemical peels: alphahydroxy acid (AHA), trichloroacetic acid (TCA) and phenol. The strength of each peel is tailored to the patient.
